About Us
Scunthorpe & Brigg Rotaract Club is one of the many thousands of Rotaract clubs worldwide and is an organisation for young people aged between 18 and 35. Click here to visit the national Rotaract website. Rotaract is also the younger side of Rotary International and we are supported by two local Rotary clubs, Brigg & Scunthorpe Pentagon within Rotary District 1270.
We are a social and community based club who get involved in local and national fundraising, as well as hosting and taking part in a wide variety of social events. The aim of the club is to have fun, meet new people, and try to put something back into the community. If you are aged between 18 and 35 then you don't know what you have been missing out on!!
Each year the club organises three main fundraising events. These are a Burns Night in January; a St George’s Day England Quiz with Pie & Peas Supper in April and a Themed Charity Night in September. Previous successful charity night themes have included, the Wild West, James Bond and The Oscars!
As well as our main fundraising events we organise a variety of activities including (but not limited to!) the following list:
| Black Tie Dinners | Cinema Trips | Inter Club Challenges |
| Bowling | Paintballing | Meals Out |
| Alton Towers | Wine Tasting Evenings | Race Nights |
| Walks | Crown Green Bowls | Brewery Tours |
