Doncaster Car Show - Doncaster Rotaract have a stand there!

Rob and Rach went along to help Doncaster Rotaract. It chucked it down all day, so was a bit of a wash out, but Rob ended up winning the prize of a car for the weekend!

Humber Bridge Pram Push organised by Barton Rotary Club

We survived raising over £300 for Lincolnshire & Nottingham Air Ambulance. We came 5th out of 26 - not bad! Had a nice time at the Hog Roast evening afterwards.

Good night had by all. Tim from Grimsby & Cleethorpes Rotaract Club took the accolade of Best Costume with his lovely velour suit! Thanks to all who donated to make our Champagne Raffle a success.

North Yorkshire 3 Peaks Charity Walk in Aid of Jumbalance.
Horton in Ribblesdale
On the second attempt on the 2nd October 2004, the walk was completed in just under 10 hours and 15 minutes. The weather was certainly changeable...from bright to thunder and lightning and back to bright again! More or less recovered from the aching limbs. Thanks to all who sponsored us for this event, and a very special thank you to Martin and Jack Robinson for their support on the day making welcomed cups of tea and food to keep us going!

Walk around Thornton Curtis. Starting and ending at the Thornton Hunt Pub, the walk will pass the Thornton Abbey.

Enjoyable Walk from the Thornton Hunt to the Thornton Abbey and back again. The rain held off more or less! Excellant meal was had by all at the Thornton Hunt pub after the walk.

Askrigg Outward Bound Weekend

Organised by Havelock Rotary Club. Caving, gorge walking, abseiling, high ropes and canoeing - just a selection of the activities on offer. Food was plentiful and there was a few pubs in the village which of course had to be tried!
